In reply, New Zealand's start was not good either. New Zealand's

14 runs. Colin Munro (0) and Ken Williamson (19) were settled cheaply. When the
match started after the rain, New Zealand got the target of 151 runs in 25
overs according to the rules of Duckworth-Lewis. When the match started again,
Guptill increased the run rate. Together with Taylor, he led the team to
victory. Guptill scored a knockout 86 off 71 balls and was adjudged Man of the
Match. Taylor returned 45 not out by scoring 45 runs.
